I bought this docking station based on my testing the other top rated docking stations along side of it at the music store. It was clearly better and was also more expensive. Not a problem when you're willing to pay a little more for better sound. The problem now is it only charges my 3g nano and not my 4g nano. So if you have a 4g be prepared for this. I do not know if bose repinned the newer model yet but just be aware that this model will not charge the 4g.

It was ok while it lasted. After an year and a half it stopped working. The switching power supply has something loose inside. I expected better quality.
