 Not as Good as My Old Logitech mm50 January 5, 2009

I bought this Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere to replace my three-year-old Logitech mm50 because the volume level seemed to be diminishing on the old unit. Much to my surprise, the new Pure-Fi is less loud than my old unit, although the sound quality is pretty good. The styling is nicer than the mm50, as is the remote control. But I need more volume to fill my living room as well as use the unit outside, and this one simply doesn't deliver... even at a fairly reasonable price. This unit at max volume is quieter than an old transistor radio. I recommend you listen to the unit in a store and compare it to similarly priced speakers before you buy.

I bought this product as a gift for my daughter. The quality is good and the feel is solid. It works as advertised and despite the small size of the speakers the sound is comparable to a good table radio. My daughter can share her IPod music with others, listen without headphones, take her music on the road the same way, and have an alternative means of recharging her IPod. She is very happy with it. I also feel the price was good for what she got.

i bought this docking station for my girlfriend's birthday. her silver ipod looks great in it, and the music quality is awesome. we tested a lot of stations in electronics stores around town before deciding on this one. it had the best music quality of any we tested, even at high volumes. we use it everyday, and we love it.
plus, we recently drove to visit family in louisiana and wanted to listen to our music on the way. we read the reviews of all the fm transmitters on amazon, but none seemed to fare very well. so, we went bootleg and took our logitec in the car on a full charge. it lasted the whole nine hours even pumped up super loud to hear over the noise of the interstate.
i'd recommend this unit to anyone looking for a quality docking station - plus it comes in black to match either ipod classic.

Good quality speakers for the price. It comes w/ all the ipod docks and comes in a nice case to store the speakers, the charger, and the remote. Small enough to fit into your carry on bag and luggage. These speakers will get stolen if you pack them into your check in luggage. It comes in both black and white. I would recommend the black one b/c it'll stay cleaner. Overall, i would recommend these speakers for anyone looking for something small that comes with it's own carrying case. Amazon sells it the cheapest. Enjoy.

This appears to be a good product. I wanted portability with a self contained battery.I saw reviews with complaints about the sound--I think the sound is quite good for the size. I saw reviews w complaints about battery life---it may not go 10 hours but certainly over 5. I am pleased.
